Carbis are awarded the manufacture of a large number of de-oiling internals for Statoil’s Mariner field development. Statoil project requirements call for all metallic CR Alloy materials to be procured strictly in accordance with Norsok M650 Ed 4, something Carbis are very familiar with. Carbis has many years’ experience in the manufacture of de-oiling internals and over the past few years executed several projects in accordance with Norsok specifications.
The Mariner heavy oil field was discovered in 1981, and is the largest new offshore field development in the UK for over a decade.
